Spare/Guest Bedrooms

This bedroom sits at the front of the house, facing the street, but still has plenty of privacy from the curtains and shrubbery outside the window. The closet is a walk-in closet with ample room for a wardrobe and/or extra storage space.

This bedroom sits at the side of the house, between the master and front bedroom, and a large magnolia tree provides plenty of privacy here. Again, the closet (at the back, righthand corner of the room) is a walk-in closet with ample wardrobe/storage space.

Master Bedroom

The large master bedroom will easily accommodate a king size bed, several dressers, and/or additional furniture. The attached master bathroom has a tub/shower combination and double vanity sinks. The spacious walk-in closet sits opposite a separate jewelry/make-up vanity.

The Bonus Room & Hall Bathroom

The bonus room sits directly off the main hallway and features beautiful built-in bookshelves (opposite this picture) and large windows overlooking the backyard. This room can serve many purposes, as a formal dining room, office, playroom, or guest bedroom. The carpet in this room and in the hallway was installed in 2010.

The hall bathroom was updated in 2010 and features a tub/shower combination, double vanity sinks, and plenty of counter and cabinet space.

The Living Room

A wood burning fireplace, with woodbox, and open space with a view of the back deck and yard make for a cozy and attractive living area. Behind the couch on the right-hand side of the picture are the breakfast bar and kitchen area--which opens up this space even more--and behind the second couch is a large bay window that lets in lots of natural light without betraying personal privacy. In addition, the built-in bookshelves and track lighting above the mantle invite plenty of pictures or personal decorating touches.

The Back

The back doors (from the living room) open onto a 285 square foot deck with built in corner benches. The deck is well shaded by surrounding trees and makes a great setting for grilling and eating outside. The shade also helps to keep the house cooler during the summer.

The yard itself is perfectly suited for children and/or pets, as it is fenced-in and large enough for outdoor games. There is also plenty of space for a garden plot, which we had for the past several years. The fence includes access gates on each side of the house, including a double gate on one side for moving large equipment. Shrubbery along the sides and back of the fence provides plenty of privacy.

The Kitchen & Dining Area

Stylish, well-lit, with plenty of storage space, this kitchen is ideal for those who love to cook and entertain. The cabinets and countertops are beautiful, with a granite countertop island and generous pull out shelves in the pantry, deep drawers for pots and pans, and abundant cabinet space. A picturesque garden window sits above the sink and a wide breakfast bar transitions into the living room. The multi-functional range includes four burners and an optional griddle and grill top. The Kenmore side-by-side refrigerator (four years old) and microwave oven fit perfectly into the woodwork and will stay with the house. Laminate hardwood floors extend through the kitchen and dining area into the spacious, open living room.

The dining area is directly off the kitchen. Much more than simply a dinette, there is room for a full-size table to seat a family and guests.

The Front

Mature pine trees grace the front yard. The pine island features a Japanese Maple, a pair of rose bushes, and a flowering butterfly bush. Azaleas flank the entryway and a large flowerbed alongside the house provides space for seasonal color.
